It is not truth. It is a working model created from sightings, reports, rumours, station records, distress calls, flight plans and sensor contacts.

What the player experiences

• Rumours can disagree.
• A ship may be misidentified.
• Old behaviour can affect future trust.
• Local systems may know things that distant governments do not.
